How to setup Creality CR10

Hi new here: need to know how l connect my printer to your software having a big problem connecting to my machine can any body help please.

Thanks for response Smithy info as follows: my MC is a Prusa CR-10/A10 CR series.

because l'm knew to this type of engineering l'm not even sure how  to connect printer to Cura software.   Although MC seems to function on homing mode ok that's as far as l have got.

CR-10 is a Creality printer, not a Prusa, but doesn't matter in your case.

What do you mean with "how to connect" ? 

You have to add a printer profile in Cura for your printer (add printer), then you have to save the sliced gcode to USB stick, SD card whatever and put that into your printer.

 

The network functionality is only working for Ultimaker printers.

 

You can add a Raspberry Pi with Octoprint to your printer, then you can use a plugin for Cura to be able to send a print job to Octoprint.
