Why the shell part which i built in Rhino don't show up in Cura?

Posted · Why the shell part which i built in Rhino don't show up in Cura?

just the solid part remarked by green circle shows up, the other shell part denoted by red rectangle don't show up.

Besides this, the solid part which i built in Rhino just become hollow.

    For 3D printing you need a watertight model and I am sure your STL is not watertight. Therefore the left part is hollow and not solid. 

     

    For the shell on the right side you need a wall thickness which your printer is able to print, so usually 0.4mm. If you just have a "line" there, it will not work.
