Posted · Saving custom supports setup?

Hey there, I'm setting up to print a file that has a lot of small based pieces with an overhang at the bottom sides. I dont want to generate all the supports cura wants to so I add a custom 3mm cylinder under each overhang to try to stop it from warping up and breaking off the base. There are a lot of them, like 40 or so. The custom support works but every time I add one I have to go into setting and include generate support and then close settings and check the box for generate. Is there a way to make it default to that so to not have to go thru that every time.  I mean its custom supports, why do I have to list and enable it every time I add one?

Can someone help with this. Am I missing something? Thanks.
