Changing how Standard supports work

Hi All, using CURA 5.0. this is regarding Standard supports. I have only tried the following a few times so if I am wrong with this of if there is a setting already in CURA 5.0 let me know, Thank You.

I tried enabling Supports. Nothing fancy. I just let CURA decide where to play supports. This was in CURA 4.x latest version. It placed a continuous Thin Wall of support from the ground up. This support was very easy to remove. I like it. On to CURA 5.0. I tried basically the same thing in CURA 5.0. In 5.0, CURA basically places a rock solid support that is IMPOSSIBLE to remove. I tried printing a Pumpkin design and there is no way to remove these supports. Now, First I don't need that strong of supporte for most parts. And it wastes a lot of plastic and printing time. Just printing a few thin walls together without any infill. would be all I need. As of this writing I am thinking that maybe I have to go into the Support section and turn off Support infill. Do you think that will fix things?

Oh, I know there is a support Offset but I don't think that would help much and there is still The issue of printing thicker supports than needed.

I run supports and support interfaces at 90% flow.  That makes them weaker and doesn't affect the rest of the print.  Those settings are in the Material section.

You can also set the Support Infill Layer Thickness to 2X your regular layer height.  They only print every other layer that way.  I usually do that with the infill as well.

There is also a setting for Gradual Support Infill Steps that will give sparse infill near the bottom and increase the density as it gets near the top so your roof is supported.
