Hey Plainbum,
There are several ways to edit your Gcode in Cura there is a post processing script.
But I believe that doesn't work when you load in Gcodes.
Gcodes are basically textfiles. You can also use programs like Notepad or Notepad++ to make changes and save the file.
But you will have to know what you are looking for. It helps if you check your gcode flavor.
In the Cura 5.8 stable release, everyone can now tune their Z seams to look better than ever. Method series users get access to new material profiles, and the base Method model now has a printer profile, meaning the whole Method series is now supported in Cura!
We are happy to announce the next evolution in the UltiMaker 3D printer lineup: the UltiMaker Factor 4 industrial-grade 3D printer, designed to take manufacturing to new levels of efficiency and reliability. Factor 4 is an end-to-end 3D printing solution for light industrial applications

For this Ultimaker 3 Extended, the flavor is Griffin.
So with a page like https://all3dp.com/2/3d-printer-g-code-commands-list-tutorial/ I can find the commands I am looking for.
I hope this helps. Good luck!
