Would it be fair to ask a question on a non Ultimaker printer?

I have a Creality Ender 3 s1 pro. It has 2 jack screws (threaded arms) on each side of the vertical braces. The extruder rides on a rail that has a knob to tighten the belt at the back running horizontally. The threaded arms control the vertical motion. At the very top of the arms is another belt running from one arm horizontally to the other. This belt has no tightening knob and is loose. It should be snug. just wanted some help before I mess it up.

Thanks

      • S-Line Firmware 8.3.0 was released Nov. 20th on the "Latest" firmware branch.
(Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series
        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
