Posted · Dual extrusion supports for overlapping area

I am having an issue getting supports for a part that has areas that overlap.  If I just do supports with my main extruder it works but if I try to use my second extruder for dense interfaces I get a zebra strip part.  Any ideas for settings or will Cura not do this with supports.  On a more simple part it works fine but it sees to have issue with the curved bottom.

I can't duplicate this but I'm guessing at how you have it set up.

With the model loaded and ready to slice use the "File | Save Project" command and then post the 3mf file here.  Maybe something will stick out.

Some folks post things and never come back.  We never know if the problem was fixed or they got mad at a reply, or maybe they threw the printer out a window (Xvico holds the record with an Ultimaker in 2nd place).  So thanks for getting back.
