Ultimaker Cura 5.2.1 wont work on my Mac catalina 10.15.7

I have tried to install the latest version of cura on my iMac, but it won't open. The icon bounces and I then get a message saying it can't open the software.

 

I searched the forum and followed the instructions to uninstall and reinstall, which I have done, but it still won't work. 

 

Any advice or help to overcome this issue will be gratefully appreciated.

Install the previous version 5.1 and it will open. You must have an older Mac that is not supported any longer
