I updated from Cura four dot somethin somethin to five dot two dot one somethin somethin.

Now Cura does not recognize 3mf files. 3mf is not listed among recognized file types within the Open Files dialog box. When I force Cura to open a 3mf file, it gacks up the message "Invalid File: Cannot open files of file type of" (sic).

WTF, boys?

What operating system do you use? Did you download Cura from the Ultimaker website, or do you use something from a package manager/ If the latter, it could be that that package is missing a dependency or two.

We can further diagnose the issue if you post a link to the Cura.log file, which can be found via Help -> Show configuration folder.

    Thanks for checking back.

For no obvious reason, nor any effort on my part, my install of Cura now imports 3mf files with zero issues.

    Go figure.
