Feature request: make the shadow in the "Prepare" view more persistent

The behavior right now: When an object is moved on the build plate, it's shadow stays in the original position for just a couple of seconds, then updates to the new position.

The behavior I'd like to see: Persist the shadow until I release the mouse button and "drop" the object.

It would make placing objects much easier.

    Hey @billTheTailor,

Welcome to the Ultimaker Community 🎉

    Thanks for the Request.

This is the first time I've noticed it.
Are you talking about the shadow on the buildplate?

I checked with one of the developers, and this was done on purpose to prevent Cura from being slow.

Can you help me explain what problem you are trying to solve?

Are you trying to find a specific arrangement for your models?

Are you unhappy with the auto arrangement (ctrl+R)?
