How to optimise (speed) of how the wall is printed?

Hi All,

I've been using Cura for some time and I noticed that this is super important of how the model is sliced and how "lines" are printed in order to print faster and smoother.

I'm trying to print a very simple model, something like a grid with straight walls. But the way the Cura sliced model makes printing slow.

This is the stl model view

and here is the print preview

I would like this print to be sliced into simple straight lines, without unnecessary turns and kind of "handles" for "T" wall joins. I prefer speed over perfection in this particular model.

I tried to play with different wall setting but I cannot make Cura to optimise this print into straight lines, they may overlap, that would be OK. Now, this simple grid takes hours to print because of all these unnecessary turns and corners.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Marcin
