Dear Cura community,

First of all - happy new 2023!

I would like to ask for your help on the following issue.

Recently and unexpectedly I encountered a problem with Cura 5.2.1. Specifically - with infill.

I have created an object using Fusion 360 (exported solid body with "high" mesh setting).

In Cura, no matter what setting I change in Infill section (e.g. density), the body is treated as hollow,

with some random infill lines hanging in the air (please see the attached print screen).

In the past, I have successfully sliced (using Cura) and printed (using FL SUN) multiple parts with no problem.

This problem (not responsive infill setting and infill lines of solid body hanging in the air) occurred just recently and drives me crazy.

I would highly appreciate if someone could share their wisdom on this issue.

Sincerely,

Simonas

    Hey @simonask,

Welcome to the Ultimaker Community 🎉

The infill shows up "normally" for me.
So I think it might be related to one of your settings.
It looks like it might be related to gradual infill.

Do you have a project file for us? It contains the printer and settings we need for troubleshooting.

    Hi @MariMakes,

Thank you for your prompt response!

Attached, please find the Project file.

I am now convinced that something is wrong with my settings (although I did not change it from my previous prints, which were OK). I checked for gradual infill (in Infill settings), which showed me that the option was not selected.

Perhaps the solution could be resetting all the settings and starting from zero 🙂

    Sincerely,

    Simonas
