I cant download files on cura for chromebook/linux

Posted · I cant download files on cura for chromebook/linux

so I just started 3d printing and just finished setting up linux and Im on cura and when i try to drag files from my linux folder i get the error message like in the picture, does anyone know how to help with this

    Hey @JJthegoat,

     

    Welcome to the Ultimaker Community 🎉

     

    It seems that your modles are missing their extentions. Cura supports the following 3D file formats: 3MF, OBJ and STL. Supported 2D images are: bmp, gif, jpg & png

    Perhaps if you add .stl at the end of your models they should load correctly (if they are actually an STL).
