Posted · Cura 5.2.1 - strage thing after every layer

Hi all,

I'm using 5.2.1 and my printer is an Anycubic i3 Mega S.

Since yesterday my printer shows a new behaviour after printing each layer. The print head moves back and forth a little bit, it does this 4-5 times and then it starts printing the next layer.

I probably set this somewhere by mistake, but I have no idea where.

Does anyone know which Cura parameter this is?

Many thanks in advance and best regards
Michael

Posted · Cura 5.2.1 - strage thing after every layer

    Hi all,

I found out the reason by checking the G-Code. There was the following at the biginning of each layer:

    ;LAYER:14

    ;WIPE_SCRIPT_BEGIN

    G1 F480 Z4.65

    G0 F3600 X100 Y55.346 Z4.65

    G0 X120 Y55.346

    G0 X100 Y55.346

    G0 X120 Y55.346

    G0 X100 Y55.346

    G0 X120 Y55.346

    G0 X134.606 Y55.346 Z4.5

    G1 F480 Z4.5

    ;WIPE_SCRIPT_END

    M106 S81.4

Than I looked to the experimental settings and found that the wiping between the layers was marked.

    Problem is solved.

    regards

    Michael
