Layer are splitting into strips

Hi all,

Any advice would be welcome 🙂 When printing, all layers (not only first one) are splitting into strips (see attached picture). Printer was working quite fine for some time, and then at some moment it started giving stripes and nothing I do help to resolve the issue.

About setup:

  - PLA, 1.75mm

  - software: UltiMaker Cura 5.2.2

  - temperature: tried from 190 till 240 - high temperatures gives better results, but still not good enough

  - nozzle 0.25mm

  - layer height: 0.1...0.3mm (I've tried different heigts)

  - flow: 80..160% (I've tried different flows - bigger values gives slightly better results, but still not good enough)

  - bed leveling - bed is quite smooth and level. The peace paper goes with the same level of effort between the nozzle and the bed

  - axis calibration: x,y,z and extruder all work quite accurate, within 1-2% of given sizes

  - i've cleaned the nozzle with then needle to ensure it is not clogged

Observation: when I set nozzle size in Cura settings to "0.4mm", printer starts printing with micro-zig-zags instead of stright lines, however print quality dramatically increases and I can print quite good details. I'd be inclined that my nozzle (despite inprinted 0.25 on it) is actually 0.4, if not the zig-zags

I've tried changing basically all major settings (widths, heights, flows, temperatures etc), tried re-leveling the bed multiple times, changing bed-nozzle distance etc - nothing helps.

Any ideas what could be the reason for such printing problem?
