I'm running Cura 5.3 on W11.  My support settings work fine for small supports, but larger ones like the one below fall apart, sometimes.  Notice that 2 of the supports worked fine, but 2 others fell apart (upper triangles).

What support settings might improve this?

Enable "Use Towers" at about 10mm diameter, or try Tree Supports.  I think towers would be quicker and use less material.  They have to grow for a ways before they get attached to the actual model and that's a failure point  You'll need to have sufficient footprint to the towers so they don't fail.

That's a tough model because there isn't very much room on those X-members for the "floor" of the supports.  "Towers" will come up from the build plate.

This model is 3mm thick with 7mm Towers.  They act as buttresses and provide stability for the thin support structure.

That makes sense.  Larger footprint tower to support the whole wall.  I didn't think I'd need the tower because I had a fairly sturdy wall at 3mm, but I guess at the apex of the "V" there was some instability.  Once it got building, it seemed to fine.
