Ultimaker S5 Material Station failed to detect

Hello,

 

I recently had an issue with the print head and our printer has been out of action for around a month due to this. After changing the print head today I tried to recalibrate the printer but it couldn't detect the material station and kept telling me I had a print task regarding the material spool. I have tried a number of different things including checking the continuity of the cable that connects the S5 printer to the material station in which there were no issues. I am wondering if anyone has had similar issues and what was done to resolve them or if there is anything else I should check in order to find the problem.
