Custom Printer, but no manual control of extruder in the monitor tab

I am new to the new versions of Cura but I have been using a very old version (v3).  While my printer isn't in the list, I was able to create a custom printer and provide the needed information for it to function.  I am able to directly print over USB as it doesn't have networking connection.

I am used to going to the monitor tab and seeing not only extruder jog control, but also extrusion control but it is missing.  Is this feature now missing?

I don't think there have ever been manual extrusion controls in Ultimaker Cura, since version 2.x. At least, I can't remember adding them; I could not get my head around a good way to handle multi-extusion printers (switching active extruders, showing the currently active extruder), and ran out of time and energy.

You may have been using a different flavor of Cura before (the Lulzbot edition?)

Ah, yes, it was the Lulzbot edition.

I found the "home" for the Z axis also doesn't do anything for my printer. This I used for my archaic machine to level the manual bed; much easier than the marlin interface.

I started to look at what it would take to make a pull request, but the code structure is so foreign to me that without some pointers to correct spot I wouldn't know where to start.  I even tried searching for the same words in my screen capture and it came up with nothing, but this could be due to localization abstraction or a file extension that my search tool was unfamiliar with as a text file.
