Does anyone know if UltiMaker plans to add a CURA profile for the Creality 'K1 Max' printer soon ?

I am holding back my K1 MAX purchase until I can use what I know; but I really want its features.

I'm spent years learning to use Cura for my Ender 5, and I don't need another hurdle to master.

So far, Creality doesn't seem to respect community wishes, and hasn't changed their forced onboard Slicer offering to be just an Option, as yet.

Thx for any help / guidance you can provide.

UltiMaker never "plans" to add any 3rd party profiles at all to UltiMaker Cura.

All 3rd party profiles are contributed by the Manufacturer in question or various community users etc..

Unfortunately if you want the profile in UltiMaker Cura, you need to convince Creality or someone in the users community to step up and do it.

The Creality software you can download for K1, looks like it IS actually Cura. Only it has been rebranded as Creality software?

It's forked from an older version of Cura. The definition files aren't directly compatible with current versions of Cura, but you could create a profile and manually transfer the details over if you want.
