Hello everyone,

I'm using UltiMaker-Cura-5.4.0-linux-modern.AppImage  under  Debian Linux,

My preferences file is

~/.config/cura/5.4/cura.cfg

When cura was NOT open, I've changed the file

from

[local_file]
dialog_save_path = ~/Impressions_3D/Sifflets
dialog_load_path =

to

[local_file]
dialog_save_path = ~/Impressions_3D
dialog_load_path = ~/Impressions_3D

The change on dialog_save_path worked

But the other (on dialog_load_path) did not.

On opening, Cura changes it everytime for a blank line.   Why??

Is there anyway to force Cura to keep my change(s) now and i the future ?

Thanks.

    Good idea: easy and hopefully working.

    Tried:  yes and no

    yes: my file stays the same --- no surprise, but the trick works.

    no:  still cura opens the ~/ directory instead of the ~/Impressions_3d as expected.
