Printing Starts Printing off Bed

Hi,

I was reading through this closed thread and verified I do not have the "Origin At Center" and am not seeing any negative values in my Gcode file.

I have sliced 2 different STL files and both of them print off the bed. I'm using an Anycubic Kobra 2 printer that I got yesterday and was able to run a few test prints that printed right in the center successfully.

Can someone assist please? I've attached one of the files for reference.

Thank you!

Doing a quick rapid hyperspeed scroll through the gcode, it's all in positive co-ordinates and not past the bounds of your printable area.

The first thing that comes to mind is to go into your printer's settings in Cura and turn on Origin at center and do a quick test print. I'm not sure what the right setting for your printer is, but if you centre the thing (really, you could just make like a small cube or something, we're just testing positioning here) in Cura and see where it prints you can know for sure which setting is correct.

The test prints you did: did you slice them yourself or just get them as gcode? If it's the latter, if you could upload the code for one, can see if anything looks vastly different to your slice.

      • S-Line Firmware 8.3.0 was released Nov. 20th on the "Latest" firmware branch.
(Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series
        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
