Last year, Ultimaker and MakerBot merged resulting in a new company UltiMaker.

This has resulted in changes on this forum like a new logo, and not only white printers but also black 3D printers in the available portfolio.

If you want to learn more about them you can check them out on our website.  image.thumb.png.9d6b73d84c1ab351859a9a8d2e17d000.png

Another big change is the adoption of the online 3D model library Thingiverse. Thingiverse is the world’s largest online 3D printing community of makers, educators, professionals, and designers who share a passion for discovering, making, and sharing 3D printable digital designs. The largest database for 3D print designs in the world–with over 2.5 million 3D print designs uploaded and over 20 million visitors a month.

The website is now being maintained by the same people who also work on UltiMaker Cura.
Here is an overview of the things we have introduced in the last year:

  • Improved Search Functionality
Finding what you need is now quicker and more accurate thanks to our improved search function. We believe we have resolved most of the search errors, but if you are still seeing unexpected search results please let us know.

  • Customizer Back Online
After some downtime, our customizer tool is back and better than ever, allowing you to personalize your 3D prints.

  • New Thing Page
One of the most noticeable changes is the updated style to match the rest of the UltiMaker brand, creating a cohesive and visually pleasing experience across all our sites. With the new design, it's easier to implement requests and it's a design we are slowly rolling out to the rest of the site.

  • Seamless Login
We've resolved numerous login issues and moved to a new software, allowing you to stay logged in. If you log in for the first time you might need to delete your Thingiverse cookies. You can find instructions on how to clear it here: https://www.lifewire.com/clear-cookies-for-one-site-4587347

  • Enhanced Download Analytics
You now have better insights into the actual downloads and views from your uploaded Things.

  • Mobile Optimization
Thingiverse now offers improved support for mobile devices. As a result, we've removed the app from the store to focus on delivering a top-notch mobile web experience.

  • Expanded Moderation Tools
Keeping the Thingiverse community a comfortable and safe place is a top priority. We've expanded our moderation tools, empowering users and moderators to maintain a positive environment.

  • Spam Reduction
We've implemented rigorous measures to reduce spam accounts and maintain the integrity of our community.

  • Updated Information
Outdated lists of available printers, CAD software, file formats, and file requirements have been refreshed to align seamlessly with UltiMaker Cura, ensuring you have access to the latest and most accurate information.

  • Changelog
All Thingiverse updates can be tracked on our new changelog page, keeping you informed about the latest updates and improvements. You can check it out for yourself here

Thingiverse has already a thriving community on the Thingiverse Forum Groups, but we wanted to invite you to share feedback and insights by adding a new category on community.ultimaker.com.

You can find it here. https://community.ultimaker.com/forum/172-ultimaker-thingiverse/

If you haven't done so, click here to have a look around on Thingiverse to see all the new changes for yourself.

Gracias

The temperatures should be handled by your StartUp Gcode.  If there are no temperatures in the machine startup then Cura should add them before the StartUp section of the gcode.

Open the gcode file in a text editor and just under the "Generated with..." line should be M104 Sxxx for the nozzle, M140 Sxx for the bed, and maybe M109 and M190.

Go to Settings, Printers, Manage Printers, Machine Settings.  In the lower left text box is your startup gode.  Copy that and you can paste it in here.
