Bed Level Issue and Error 998

Recommended Posts

Posted · Bed Level Issue and Error 998

I have been trying to fix this printer for the past 2 weeks, anytime I try and print I get a bed level error.  I have done all the test/calibrations numerous times- but that does not seem to help. Now when I try to do any sort of test print, I am getting a Error 998- screen error  (see 1st video below)

2 print cores are installed and have filament.

#1- AA 0.4 has PLA and #2 - BB 0.4 has Ultimaker PVA Natural

I have switched out both print heads- no change
I have done a print head cleaning -no change
I have done the XY offset- gets error (see it in Video #2)
I have done manual leveling- no issues during that process

Calibrated left switch- did that, no issues during that process

Checked all wires in print head- all are connected w/ no issues

Checked fan for debris and wires issues- all connections are solid

Updated Firmware to 8.2.0
