Hello,
I was wondering where / if it possible to still purchase a GST220A24-R7B power brick for my Ultimaker 2+ Ext. I feel a little weary of the places that been suggested like amazon and/or ebay, as allot of the listings on these sites I feel dont give the basic needed information or have red flags to me. What I mean by red flags is on amazon, when I go to the seller info page is just a bunch of random Chinese characters or a bunch of garbage like someone's cat decided to roll around on their keyboard. The other thing is pictures of the item and listing seem cut and paste or certain markings on the power supply looks to be scrapped off or blurred. They are missing numbers in the model number, input  and output.

Thanks for any help

You can contact your local reseller, they can usually get everything even if they don’t have it in stock.

Here in Germany for example igo3d.com has it in stock (~160€ if I remember it correctly), I think they are shipping worldwide, not sure about the shipping rates tho.

    Thank you for the reply.

I did contact a few and checked on ultimaker's website site for reseller. But unfortunately most of the USA resellers the oldest model they still have parts for is the Ultimaker 3, outside some random home-brew parts for the 2 and 2+ like an enclosure pieces. While I've checked places like mouser and digi-key and their lead time and prices are a little too steep at the moment when you include shipping and tariff charges for the part.

The only place I did find one they wanted something like 300 USD for the power brick alone. Which I feel is way too much for just a power brick and considering how old the printer is to justify the expense.

      • S-Line Firmware 8.3.0 was released Nov. 20th on the "Latest" firmware branch.
(Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series
        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
