Posted · Error trying to start Cura

I get an error message  on starting application :

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "cura_app.py", line 28, in <module>
  File "PyInstaller\loader\pyimod02_importers.py", line 352, in exec_module
  File "cura\CrashHandler.py", line 24, in <module>
from PyQt6.QtWidgets import QDialog, QDialogButtonBox, QVBoxLayout, QLabel, QTextEdit, QGroupBox, QCheckBox, QPushButton
ImportError: DLL load failed while importing QtWidgets: The specified procedure could not be found.

I reinstalled Windows10 64 bit,  it is completely updated.  I was able to install other slicers, and they run fine.

This was reported earlier. but was  prematurly completed because of  windows being older versions.

The Error message is now gone after the latest update.  KB4023057.

Blame Microsoft: Now there's a cause we can all get behind 😄

Thanks for the update (some pun intended), happy to hear it's working for you.
