Posted · Problem with PVA, to print a boat model

Hello Everyone.

At work i am trying to print a prototype using PVA as a support material to hold the print.
Turns out that when the support is started to print the PVA is melting the shape of the support material.
Eventually this will compromise the print.

For the print i am using UM white PC and PVA as a support material.

If there is another way or parameters who help me to fix the print of PVa and somebody know how to fix this.
Please let me know.

Thank you

You might try Aquasys for support; it tends to work with high temp materials like PC: https://marketplace.ultimaker.com/app/cura/materials/InfiniteMaterialSolutions/AquaSys120

    Hi.

    I'll have a look.

For the moment i found some PTEG which will be enough for the print that i have to do.

    Thank you
