Align two similar models in the exact same orientation?

Posted · Align two similar models in the exact same orientation?

Hey guys, i forgot to save my project before exporting my resized models. Now i don't have a way of knowing what percentages were adjusted in order to adjust some other pieces to the same dimensions. My idea was to bring in the adjusted mask and then bring i the original file and adjust to OG file to my new one to get the adjustment percentages. Problem im having is aligning the two exact models into the same orientation and rotation so i can do this. Im totally screwed unless i can do this as it has to be exact. Ive been at this or at least an hour trying auto orientation ant all that. Is there anything i can do> I hate we cant type in an exact rotational number...

    So do I.

Unfortunately to the best of my knowledge there isn't a way to do this automatically. You'll probably just have to do it by eye (I offer some tips in this thread).
