How should "Pause at Z" work on an UM2?

Hi Guys,

I tried to print Daid' "Cat Gears Key Chain". This is making use of the "Pause at Z" Plugin where you need to add parts to the print and then continue.

I had setup the plugin (2.4mm , Park head at 190 / 190) and and checked for the "M0" in the gcode - everything looks fine.

When it came to this point that the printer should stop, it moves the head for a moment to the back-right position, but did not really stop. Motor sound was pretty painfull. Just like tried to get behind the end-points.

It was only sitting there for a second or so and then continue to print.

So no stop at all. I know people are using it to even Change the filament. No idea how this should work?!

I tried both, generating "UltiGCode" and "reprap/marlin" - both had pretty much the same effect.

Thanks, Netsrac

Sorry - not out yet. But evidently you can pause it from the control panel. I've never tried it as when you pause the nozzle tends to ooze and make a small mess (that may or may not clean up easily).
