Posted · Actual replicatorg 0034 not working

Just finished mounting the Ultimaker but could not use it with the actual RepG 34. It seems there is no communication, trying to update the software but with no success. However Repg 26 works fine, Had some adventures with Marlin too, could start it eventually but the calibrating process is awkward.. Well this aint a joyride.. please advise..

regards

There were a lot of troubles getting repG34 working with the 5D firmware. Repg34 uses M115 to check the firmware version, however this will cause older firmwares (especially 5D) to crash. There are also a lot of other commands that the new repG supports, however they cause the 5D to crash. I am working on a workaround to make it work with 5D and older versions too, but currently its only supporting the newer machines (shipped with arduino 2560).

Cannot get the RepG34 to work ! The marlin supplied with Cura RC1 works after installing with upgrade from within. Also having a printrun installed which will not run at the same time when cura RC 1 runs by sharing the same com4 port (i assume) I tried to print out of Cura1 . for start did not heated up the head ?! I could print from RepG26 with somewhat success. But would like to update to RepG34 and it is not working !Triyng to use the Ultimaker 5d firmware with com3 and it say that "supports RC" and"initializing serial" "attempting to reset reprap" still "not connected" This is my first day with 3D printing...It is a small miracle that i have 3-4 parts printed. (i got my machine 2 weeks ago so i assume is the new arduino..)

    Regards
