Posted · Print speed not changing - SOLVED

Hi, does anyone know why the print speed shown on my Ulticontroller is always 100mm/s even though the print speed that I set on Cura when generating the Gcode is of a different value. I can change the print speed using Ulticontroller, just not automatically with Cura/Gcode anymore.

I am using Cura version 14.03 and Ultimaker Firmware version 13.12.

I just checked the minimum speed under expert settings and it's set to 10mm/s.

I tried to lower the print speed to be below 100mm/s with Cura as well, but it did not seem to change.

After having read you OP again I see what might be the point.

You refer to the number 100 on your Ulticontroller. It means 100% of the speed set in Cura. The speed on the Ulticontroller is always relative to the speed you set in Cura. You cannot change the speed in mm/s on the Ulticontroller. Does this solve your 'issue'?
