Credit card purchase not working

Hello forum wizards,

We're attempting to purchase our first 3d printer (so excited!). However, it's not working. We tried once with a credit card, and the payment failed. So (being a bit daft) we figured perhaps we had entered the number incorrectly or something. So we gamely tried again. Nope - rejected once more. So now we're uncertain if the credit card has been charged (and how many times), but we definitely haven't succeeded in actually getting the purchase sorted. Any thoughts on how to successfully purchase one of these things?

Best idea is to call your CC company and let them know what's happening. Probably they blocked the purchase because of the red flags that were raised by an overseas purchase.

If you let them know it's a legitimate purchase, they'll probably ok it, so the third time will probably work.
