Blockage in the print head ?

Hi guys.

I am back in the office this morning and tried to print a few models.

I prehead until 220, make sure the print head is clean and start the print using cura 4.

After about 5 or 6 minutes, i notice that the PLA is not moving throught the transparent pipe to the print head.

I keep pulling the pipe and filament out of the print head and find a big ball of pla blocked up.

My question, is why is this happening and of course how can i fix it ?

Could be a bowden pop, that has by far been my biggest problem with the printer, had to fix one yesterday. Easy enough to check: set the temp to something like 165 or so (I like to keep the temp down a bit as any remaining plastic wont be so runny), remove the four screws holding the hotend in place and see if plastic has leaked and gotten in contact with the PEEK.

Also, when you screw it back into place (with the bowden tube at the correct depth again) it helps to draw a line with a waterproof marker to indicate how deep the tube is put into the PEEK. So if it hangs again you can easily check for the bowden pop-up just by looking at it, instead of having to take the assambly apart again.
