Hi.

When I print the ultimaker robot, and it is printing the antennas, it print two layers on each antenna before it proceed. I want it to print one layer and then proceed to the next antenna, where i prints one layer and the back again to the first antenna.

Two layers in a row on the small antennas will cause melting and I would like to avoid that :smile:

Is there a parameter for adjusting this?

Not that i know... For these kind of small areas you can use cool head lift in expert settings. It will pause the print a couple of seconds (lift the head and put it on the side) too let the layers cool down.

Either that or print two robots at the same time, or print a tower (i use a 5mm cylinder) just higher than the robot to make it cool down.

And put the tower at a location such that one fan is effectively cooling the antennae while printing the tower...

Ok, thanks for your answers and ideas. I can defiantly use the cylinder idea.

BUT I for sure miss that parameter!
