Hello from Bosnia and Herzegowina,

my first question is, does anyone from the store or any other section of the company read the forum?

I plan to buy the printer but i have some questions. I wrote a mail and sent it but till now there isn't a response. I understand that they become for sure tons of emails, but it don't costs me to ask here :)

Cheers

Thanks for the welcome. Here is the quote from the mail:

    "Hello,

I'm interested to buy your product (ultimaker 2) but I have to ask you few questions.

I am from Bosnia and Herzegowina and I have to ask do I have to pay the full price with taxes or without taxes because the printer will be shipped to Bosnia and Herzegowina (export)? Do i have to send you any documents for the export invoice?

Is it possible to buy the printer directly from your shop in Geldermalsen because I will be in about two weeks in Netherlands?

Do I have to preorder the printer or do you have it always on stock?

When I get your answers I would give you all my contact informations for the order.

PS. Does anyone from the sales speak German so i could call you for detailed informations?

    Thanks in advance."

    Thanks in advance here too!

Bosnia is within Europe so you have to pay VAT.

The ordering system will calculate this automatically for you if you enter your shipping details.

You can find a reseller closer to you, like Italy or Germany or buy from us directly.

How long will you be staying in the Netherlands?

You can also have it shipped to the Netherlands, but currently there is a leadtime on the Ultimaker 2 and

it won't help you dodge the VAT..

If you speak german and you want more information in German you could reach out to iGo3D, they are our german reseller.

      • S-Line Firmware 8.3.0 was released Nov. 20th on the "Latest" firmware branch.
(Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series
        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
