Make Faire Robot test

Has anyone be able to print the classic challenge "maker Faire Robot 2014" without some joints being fused ?

Yes! But mine were defused :oops: Poor Maker Faire Robot had only 1 arm that was still attached to his body :(

I printed it a while ago it's an ugly print as i did it fast

I had to apply some force if i remember well to articulate it, you might need to print this slow (30mm/s) and as cold as possible i think.

Mine came fine. That's a nice little print. For some reason I didn't expect the head to rotate, I like it!

Be very careful durint the print of the 1st layer, if you see the lines touching at this point on the legs joint parts then it will be fused later. That's a good indicator for the rest of the print.

It has to be clean at this point, or barely touching, since it's when the most matter is squished and also when fan is OFF so more hot and more "fluid". If this layer is fine, the rest will be OK.

Mine was fused except on the neck.

But nonetheless it looks pretty comfortable on the Captain Kirk's chair!
