UM2 issue power

Sits the power plug certainly very deeply and firmly in the UM2 system board socket?

During power ON, the printer makes some short noise?

The LED strips are working, it is light in the interior, after switching?

Until professional help arrives ... What you can test without risk:

- Unusual discoloration Are somewhere to recognize (traces of burns) on the system board?

- Check all connectors on the system board, maybe somewhere bent pins.

- Check all wiring, for any visible damage to the insulation.

- Check the cable behind the engine covers (... there is only one screw per cover), because sometimes cables are squeezed during installation.

- Remove from the sytem board all motor connectors, for a short start-up test.

- Check especially the connection to the OLED display in both directions (cable and plug).

- Check whether a connection via USB is possible with a PC. Cura includes the necessary Arduino driver package.

I try to replace the system board borrowed from my friend's UM2, and my UM2 comes back to work. So I think it is the issue of the main board. I find there is no UM2 board in the official webshop. Can I just buy a new Arduino board to replace the old one? What is the model number? Otherwise where can I get a new one?

    Primary:

On direct request by the UM support.

Alternatively a presumably fully functional clone:

An Arduino board with ramps could go, but the necessary adjustments for mechanical, electrical, and firmware, make things unnecessarily complicated. The OLED display on the UM2 may require specific adaptations, if you want to use no other.
