Color differentiation

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone.

gallery_36059_1662_172532.jpg

Every layer has a different color on the owl. What is causing this effect?

I know that you can achive this effect in woodfill by changing the nozzle temperature.

There was no changes while printing this object.

The print was done with PLA gold from colorfabb with no infill, 204c and 60c 0.12 layer height

I would like to know if this a normal thing or is it a problem?

p.s Before this print, I was printing with black ABS.

I had the same thing happen with a silver PLA, I thought it was a result of very slight temperature differences during printing with changed speed at certain layers

some colours are more susceptible of temperature changes.

you could test print a small cube, to see if it happens with even surfaces.
