@Dim3nsioneer: yes at the machine reset the the speed and temperature changes start at layer no. 4. But now: if I want to rise temperature and slow down machine speed for the first 3 layer, what I can do? should I work in reverse manner, ie start with high temperature and slow speed and set Tweak at Z on layer no. 4 with low temperature and increase velocity by 200% ?

I opened an account on drop box.
here is the gcode of one part that I designed:

I have the same problem on flat surfaces with retraction on, like you.

@gr5: I notice that the temperature change from the 4th layer reading my gcode, and don't stop in it as I want.
I make mistake in my topic, infact I set ALT layer no. to 4 as you can see in this image:
excuse me
@Dim3nsioneer: I try to copy the gcode of one of these pieces, but the page was freezed. How can I do to share it?
@JonasK: I misunderstood than: because I believe that the ALT layer no. is the stop layer not the start layer for the changes

Hi guys, I encountered a strange problem with Tweak at Z plugin of Cura 14.03 and I want to share it with you.
I create a complex project with Inventor, colt rubber band pistol, and I design several parts. When I imported these parts in Cura I used Tweak at Z to increase temperature for 4 layers and slow down the printer ( Z height to tweak at = 0; ALT layer no. = 4; New extruder 1 temp = 230: new speed = 50% ) , in order to obtain an more smooth surface. But when I went to look at tune menu, I noticed that the temperature rose on last 4 layers not on firsts, but the speed was slowed down correctly. What happened?

Really awesome stuff in your stuff, thanks for sharing Braddock!

What sites do you all frequent when looking for models to print?
I'm agree with you in all point. For answer of your question, I use typically this site:

Hi to all,
today I wish to change my old serie 24 Vimar plate. Normally you must buy frame, pushbuttons, outlet and plate but in my case I have not enough money for all this material than I make this:
I designed three parts, for three different colors, and I used Pla filament to print those part on my Ultimaker2.

Ciao

Hi Celso Santos, to remove the filament you can try to use the remove material function. Go to material/change menu and seek instructions displayed.

Thank you Daid for your clarification.
Have a nice day

Hello,
I don't know if you had this type of problem, but I hate to repeat to print an object only because I had a electric blackout. To solve this problem you can save in the Rom the number of line of model Gcode and decrement it in the printing phase. In order to tell to the system that the object is not printed yet, for blackout or for power cord accidental removing, I think you can implement a one bit variable, a flag, checked by the system in the startup operations. If the flag is one the system read the actual Gcode line number and continue to print from it else, if the flag is zero, the system display the main menu as usual.

Sto a Roma e mi piacerebbe conoscere altri "ultimakers" in zona!
-
A presto

Ciao, io l'ho già ricevuta e quindi ti posso dire:
Paolo
