Ik heb de test nooit helemaal uit laten lopen. Deze keer wel omdat een feeder op deze manier getest moet worden of ie echt goed functioneerd.

Met gloednieuwe U2 machine meerdere keren problemen gehad met de feeder. Op advies van Blizz de draad gevolgd over deze hack. De open versie van Robert sprak mij erg aan. Geprint met PLA, koud bed, 210 graden, 30%vulling, snelheid 40. Ik heb M3-draad gekocht en deze gebruikt voor om de veer te spannen, het tweede boutje is een M3 16mm met wat extra ringetjes om het boutje niet aan de achterkant te laten uitsteken. Op de foto is dat het boutje met de gleuf ipv imbus. die kon ik niet krijgen in die maat bij de bouwmarkt. Code rechtstreeks vanaf kaartje geprint. Geweldige methode. Aan de rechterkant stond de hoogte veel te laag. Terwijl de machine draait voorzichtig draaien aan het wieltje en je ziet de lijn veranderen. Weer een stap verder.

Ok bedankt ga ik allemaal proberen

Ik heb via het forum hier een gcode-bestand gevonden voor het afstellen van mijn U2 printbed. Hiermee kun je terwijl de machine print correcties aanbrengen voor de ringen die geprint worden. Dat lijkt mij een geweldige methode, maar als ik deze wil laden in Cura 14.07 krijg ik de melding : "No profile found in GCode file. This feature works only with Gcode files made bij Cura 12.07 or newer" Weet iemand een oplossing of een link naar een bestand dat wel wil laden?

Tsja Engels is wel te doen, maar als het echt gaat om problemen uitleggen dan kan dat toch beter in je eigen taal. Nadeel van spreiding over meerdere talen is dat de kennis voor anderstaligen bedekt blijft, alhoewel er translate-mogelijkheden zijn natuurlijk. Bedankt voor het openen van deze sectie.

As a newbie I learned a lot on this evening. A special thanks to Blizz who gave me a huge amount of information. It will sure help me a lot to make good prints with the U2.

Great simple design I love it. I'm not ready for that but good to see how it can be used in a model.

For those of you (newbie's) who wants to know what expert settings are behind the quick print buttons. Future updates will override all this. This overview works for me to get some idea how to fine tune.

I assume there are expert settings hiding under the 3 quick print modes fast/normal/high. Is there somewhere an overview of these settings. I got lost with the expert settings and was forced to go back to quick print mode to get some decent prints. Oeps, there is a special chapter for the Cura software. This posting belongs there, sorry! Moderator feel free to move this posting.

Ow I expected more UM2 owners. It is always nice to no know what other brands can do. The UM2 is from the organization where I work for and I want also a printer for in my bedroom ;-) I see you there!

Hi to you all, Today finally got my hands on the brand new U2. I know already I have a lot to learn. First prints where usable but far from perfect. Not examples to show future customers. I hope I will find enough information to make professional prints. There must be good sources out there to skip all the trail and error. I need pictures from prints with faults, the explanation what is wrong and how to fix it with customized settings. Kind regards, Leon Knook
