  1. Thank you both for your help, and I wanted to let you know that your ideas worked... On Paper. Before adjusting, 20mm print was 19.4mm. Loose where the gantry would slowly drop down - 19.4mm. Tight where it had zero play but yet moved easy - 18.9mm. I lubed the Z-Screw before any test prints. So... The mystery goes on. But, again, thank you.
  2. Because the error is in the height, and that's the Z axis, there is no belt to tighten. I have checked the screws that attach the rod to the step motor. I did run a PID and made the suggest adjustments. There was a little improvement on the height error, but still off by 1.2mm on 40 mm height print.
  3. I have 2 of the same Voxelab 3D printers. Using Cura as my slicer. Both with the same software, one with H32 and other N32 chip, all other hardware %100 same. My question is: The H32 printer is NOT printing correctly in the Z axis. A 2x2x2 cube comes out 2x2x1.5. A 2x2x4 comes out 2x2x3.8. The other printer (H32) print nuts on. What would cause the this difference. Same Gcode to both printers.
  4. You sir are a starry eyed missile man! Tnx. I think I'll hold on to the "new install" 5.2 for awhile just incase.
  5. Old HDD crashed, had to reload Windows from scratch. Was able to not loose any data, just the ability to boot from the damn thing. So... Cura 5.2 is re-installed, I have my old profiles on the old HDD but need to import them. All the files in the C:\user\xxxx\appdata\roaming\cura\5.2\quality_changes are available to import to the newly installed Cura, but I can't figure out how. I tried to cheat and just move them over to the new HDD and Cura doesn't see them. So.... I have about 30 profiles I don't want to re-do. all the profiles end in .inst.cfg
  6. I have the same problem, my resolve is I 20x all models in Blender then 1/2 them once I've imported them into Cura. What that does is it takes a 10 Meter cube in Blender to a 10 Millimeter cube in Cura.
