Thanks I reformatted the SD card and tested firstly with one file and then with all files and it didn't work with all the files so a file may have been corrupted.
Im only able to set it to AUTO? Is there anyway of changing that?
Thanks.

Strange. Have you installed the drivers (cura gives you that option during installation)? If you check in the device manager do you see something related to Arduino under the "Ports" group?
No I assumed it wasn't meant to be there and so I didn't install it, should I install it then?
Yes, you need to have the drivers installed for it to work.
Thanks! I installed it and it works, thank you so much!
My Ultimaker Original+ has decided to tell me I have No SD Card.
The info screen shows Card Inserted - but then when I open the main screen - No SD card -
I have tried re-formatting the card and then tried several different single GCode files - no joy.
Could this be a firmware or hardware issue?

Have you tried copying the files off of the card, formatting it, putting the files back and then trying again? That's what I'd do anyway, just to make sure something isn't borked with the filesystem on the card.
For the second problem I would go into "Machine->Machine Settings" and manually setting the correct serial port. You can find which port the machine is using in the Device manager on windows under the ports section.
