Posted · Has any one changed their nozzle to 0.2mm

Yes a lot of people now have the .25mm nozzles from 3dsolex on Ultimaker 2.

They are even some .15mm nozzles but i haven't tested that one myself yet. Printing with .25mm nozzles works fine but it's only usefull for small detailed things

Anyone had any experience installing smaller nozzles, e.g. 0.2mm on an Ultimaker Original?

    Hi,

i'm currently printing http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:403244 with a 15cm diameter. The first half took ~ 5 days and turned out very well. I'm still struggling with the second half.

I'm using a 0.25mm nozzle and i noticed that leveling the bed gets really tricky when dealing with such small margins. I can even tell whether my glass plate has uneven parts. The first layer is printed thinner in some areas.
