Infill issues

Hi all,

I'm new to the board and my company owns an Ultimaker 2 Extended. I'm pretty new to 3D printing and I have run into a snag that I can't seem to find an answer on, tbh, I dont even really know what to call it.

I have done a handle design in Sketchup and exported it as an STL. I used Solid Inspector2 to make sure the component is in fact solid yet when I import the STL into Cura, its not filling the handle, and whats worse, its not filling it in the parts that the handle really needs to have strength.

This image shows the empty space Cura is leaving in the print. Anybody know what this issue is called and how to repair it? I have searched the web but nothing seems to cover this issue specifically.

Toggle on x-ray mode and see if you have any red areas (those indicate problems).

Run your model through: https://netfabb.azurewebsites.net/index.php

Try playing around with the "Fix horrible" options in the Expert settings.
