Posted (edited) · Can you print VIA USB cable? (not should you)

I have the UM2 and i want to print via USB cable.

Note:

I know blah blah, you shouldn't because there better chance of failure and  all that crap.. My computer is lightning fast gaming computer, well maintained so i doubt it will have any issues with latency or  pushing gcode. These are literally 5-10 minute prints and if they fail  i really don't care, i just dont want to have to switch the sd over every 10 minutes. So to be crystal clear my question is NOT,  should I print via USB, its CAN I print via USB and if so, how do i go about it?

I just want to know can you do it in cura? If so how?

    yes you can.

Cura 1..99 supports it and I think you need the latest firmware. When you plug it in via USB it should auto recognize it. Well I know tinkerware comes up with the USB printing screen.
