I really need help, i'm a student and my high school manufacturing class just got two new ultimaker 2+ it was working great but then this last couple weeks its been acting up.

1. the first problem is that after a print when i got to print again the machine makes weird noise and the feeder tries extruding really fast which makes it over feed and then stop because it grinds the material. I updated the firmware and that didn't help the only way to fix it is by turning the machine off and on again

2. the second problem is that when I paused it keep extruding leaving a huge blob of filament.

Please Help! i

You may need to do a factory reset then install new firmware. Sometimes problems are not fixed without the factory reset as i have experienced in the passed.

Did this happen with a single print, or on multiple gcodes?

What did you use as a slicer?

when I noticed it, it was originally with just single prints, i haven't had any problem with multiple. and im using the cura slicer
