Hi all,

I'm using cura 2.3.1 and an ultimaker 2+.

I'm trying to use TweakAtZ 5.1 (in Extension > Post Processing > Modify G-Code). But when printing I cannot observe any change on printing speed or fan speed (i did not test to change other parameters).

My question is: Is TweakAtZ 5.1 supposed to works with cura 2.3.1 and UM2 ? That would be strange that it does not work as TweakAtZ is by default embedded in cura 2.3.1.

I did not find topics about TweakAtZ 5.1.

Thanks in advance for your answer :)

PS: I don't think i performed a wrong manipulation as i'm able to trigger pause using PauseAtHeight plugin.

There is a bug in the current TweakAtZ. It will soon be fixed (either by me or by Ultimaker). If you don't mind we will use this thread to communicate when an fixed version is ready.

The version delivered in 2.3.1 as an issue for layer changes under the first mm.

It have submitted a PR to fix this some time ago (see here), if you copy that file in your install tree that particular issue will be fixed.

(The problem is not really at TweakAtZ issue, it is CuraEngine droping the leading 0 for dimensions smaller than 1mm...)

The bugfix from @amedee has been used in the above linked V5.1.1-RC1. However, it seems there are other issues which have to be adressed as e.g. @Alix reported that version still not to work properly.

I am using TAZ for all my prints, and for me it just works...

... but it is with my UMOs, so no UltiGCode -- that might be the difference.

      • S-Line Firmware 8.3.0 was released Nov. 20th on the "Latest" firmware branch.
(Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series
        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
