Have you checked the layer view in Cura? What you show looks really weird to me

I'll do that, I'm also going to see what the spacing between D & F is because maybe the head just didn't retract. That could also explain C; the right head was black, left was orange.
cura looked good, it looks like the black printer head was never retracted when it was printing in orange. the length of D is ~18.8mm, and the part where D goes towards the top is 18.8 mm from the orange running by the side. This also explains C as it plowed in and out trough the support structure in the extension of the orange part.
I'll re-try printing something more involved in 2 materials tomorrow.
If the right nozzle is not lifted when the left nozzle is printing, you may need to recalibrate the switching bay location.
Head to system->maintenance->diagnosis and run the switching test. Look whether or not the nozzle is lifting.
If not, you can calibrate the switching bay location in system->maintenance->calibration. During this procedure, the printer asks you to move the print head such that the lever on the right side of the printhead is in the switching bay, on the right side of your printer. After that, the printer switches the right nozzle up and down, for verification.

other info, it calibrated before the run (it is set to daily)
And it started a new print (1 material print and a 2nd material for support; same materials that so far is looking flawless. But this one had only one material change.
