Cura Temperature 5o Off?

No matter what I set the nozzle temperature to in Cura 2.4.0 under Ubuntu Linux 16.04 LTS, the gcode generated is always five degrees higher. I have to set the temperature five degrees lower than what I actually want. Why?

This should be stickied, be cause it has come up before and will come up again:

Cura has a new setting named Initial Layer Temperature which defaults to the normal temperature +5. This is only for the first layer.

We didn't listen quick enough so this messed with peoples settings. Sorry about this. It has been changed for 2.5. There only the UM printers have this behavior.

It is in the changelog however.
