For me an useful role of camera.

When something is wrong the build plate is moving up and down.

When printing is ok, the corner of the buildplate you see in camera view is not moving. But when something is going wrong wou will see a movement up and down because the printhead is pushing on the print.

Sounds like a good use for having a camera!

Note that the build plate also moves up and down when switching nozzle, though.

It is about first few layers when printing.

For example if the print will start rise from the bed.

It did happened to me and i cancel the print saving 5 hours.

Problem was with a chassis of an railroad model locomotive 18 cm long.

At one end printed part raised from buildplate.
