Cura 2.7 crash

Recommended Posts

I am running a Ultimaker 3 Extended and using cura 2.6 and wanted to upgrade to cura 2.7. I installed off of Ultimaker website and once I clicked to launch, it comes up loads everything until it says "setting up sence..." then completely crashes and closes. Has anyone had this problem??

I recommend deleting all the old profile information from cura 2.6 by closing cura, then deleting the %appdata%/cura and %localappdata%/cura folders and then restarting cura 2.7 to see if that helps.

But before you nuke everything, zip it up and post the zip somewhere so a dev can have a look to see *why* it crashed.

    • "Back To The Future" using Generative Design & Investment Casting
Designing for light-weight parts is becoming more important, and I’m a firm believer in the need to produce lighter weight, less over-engineered parts for the future. This is for sustainability reasons because we need to be using less raw materials and, in things like transportation, it impacts the energy usage of the product during it’s service life.
